Losing legendary Falcon 1st baseman (Perry) in the off-season was a tough pill for the Falcons to swallow. And while the team did draft Rich mid-way through the 2012 season, who displayed glimpses of greatness in sparse relief duty at the position last year, the following NFL analogy has since been observed now that he's taking over the starter's role for the 2013 season:
