#1. STORM
(4-0-0 This Week; 20-1-1 Overall; 1st in President's Division)
(Rank last week: 12)

It appears Storm's 1-game losing streak was not the harbinger of things to come that the league was hoping for. They've bounced back admirably, notching another perfect week. Even Bob has started hitting homers that count again! The League's first 20-game winner deserves their top spot in this week's rankings.

#2. BROADWAY
(3-0-0 This Week; 15-7-1 Overall; Tied for 2nd in President's Division)
(Rank last week: 1)

Broadway has won 7 in a row, and is doing their best to try to catch Storm at the top of the division standings. They haven't lost a game since June 23, almost 4 weeks ago. They're getting hot just in time for Storm's inevitable (probably?) slump and should at least make the race for the League Championship trophy exciting for the last few weeks of the season.

#3. A'S
(2-1-0 This Week; 14-6-0 Overall; Tied for 2nd in President's Division)
(Rank last week: 2)

The A's continue to win consistently, holding strongly to the #2 seed position that Broadway is trying to take from them. Last year's WMSPL MVP, Luige San Andres, continues to lead the league in home runs, tied with Broadway's Trevor Jean-Louis. Since the league's home run champ seems to also always win the league MVP award, Luige is on his way to a second straight title, and maybe the WMSPL's first ever co-MVP award?

#4. REBELS
(1-2-0 This Week; 12-7-1 Overall; 4th in President's Division)
(Rank last week: 3)

The Rebels are slipping. They only won a third of their games this week, and their +21 run diff from last week has dwindled to only +3. With games against Re/Max, the A's and Hanet this week, it'll be a decent feat for them to keep their run-diff-heads above water.

#5. BREW CREW
(2-0-0 This Week; 11-11-0 Overall; Tied for 1st in Vice President's Division)
(Rank last week: 7)

Brew Crew has climbed into the top spot, along with Hanet, in the VP division on the back of a perfect week. They'll need to keep up that kind of momentum (and with a game against Storm this week, it'll be tough) if they want to continue to climb the rankings.

#6. FALCONS
(1-2-0 This Week; 13-9-1 Overall; 5th in President's Division)
(Rank last week: 4)

The only win for the floundering Falcons this week was against Re/Max, and they didn't look good against Storm or Broadway. You'd think with 16 players on the roster they wouldn't have such a hard time gathering a full team to play, would you?

#7. HANET
(1-2 This Week; 9-9-1 Overall; Tied for 1st in Vice President's Division)
(Rank last week: 5)

A losing week, has dropped Hanet into a tie for 1st place in the VP division, the most exciting division in all of Whitby Slo Pitch.

#8. REMAX CROSSROADS (TIE)
(1-1-1 This Week; 8-12-2 Overall; 3rd in Vice President's Division)
(Rank last week: 8)

A tie in the power rankings! How wishy-washy of me! Anyway, I figured Re/Max and IG deserved to be tied because they've both played 22 games, have identical 8-12-2 records, and both have allowed exactly 333 runs. How cool is that?

#8. IG WEALTH (TIE)
(2-2-0 This Week; 8-12-2 Overall; 6th in President's Division)
(Rank last week: 6)

Two spot drop for IG this week, even though they were .500 on the week.

#10. COULAS BONE CRUSHERS
(0-2 This Week; 7-15-0 Overall; 4th in Vice President's Division)
(Rank last week: 10)

Coulas has lost 6 in a row and would be further down this list if they hadn't started their season so strong.

#11. SURGE
(1-2-0 This Week; 1-21-0 Overall; 6th in Vice President's Division)
(Rank last week: 11)

Surge maintains their 11 spot this week because they won a game! Praise Jebus! Unfortunately, they forgot that after a win they need to update the WMSPL website, so the score hasn't been reported yet. But when Surge wins, news travels fast!

#12. GREENTHUMB
(0-1-1 This Week; 5-12-1 Overall; 5th in Vice President's Division)
(Rank last week: 9)

Greenthumb drops to the basement in the rankings this week due to their loss to Surge. They'll recover, I'm sure.
