assignment Long Ball beats Hanet

For the second time in 4 days the Falcons met the Vice President Division's leading Hanet Plastics. Once again, the Falcons defense was solid but, unlike Friday's 8-8 tie, this time the Falcon bats spoke loud and often.With Hanet leading 6 - 4 the turning point came in the top of the 5th. Replacement lead off Junior banged out a monster 3 run shot over the right field fence to put the Falcons in the front to stay. Wolfgang, Perry and Barry also homered in the game as the long ball accounted for 9 of the Falcons 15 runs.
