With Tiger Cat pennants flying in the breeze, a solid defense behind the finesse pitching of Dennis and Ashley gave the Falcons an 8 - 0 win over division rivals CN Express. This was the Falcons second shut-out victory of the season.Offensively the Falcons had 21 hits while holding CN to 10 singles, a walk and no errors over seven innings.
The team experienced a scare in the bottom of the fifth when Perry and Mike collided in foul territory along the first base line. The impact of the collision sent shock waves across the diamond but the two tough guys shook it off and play continued.
Another all round team effort with no errors committed by Barry.
