After losing a tough first game, the Falcons regrouped to face the league leading Xtreme team in the second half of their twi-night double header. On paper, the night was not looking good.

But baseball games are not played on paper and a healthy Falcon team is either too proud to quit or too dumb to know when they are beaten. It was old time Falcon baseball as the two teams entered into a slugfest.

Surprisingly the defense was good and the team played smart. The sixth started off well with a 1-3 out, a single by Mike and a Derek popup to the pitcher. The Falcons had Xtreme sitting with 2 out and a man on 1st., but back to back doubles by Ricky and Paul scored 2 and brought on the Xtreme threat to take this one away. With a man on second and two out, Cash (learning from previous mistakes) walked Drew (who already had an HR on the night) to put on the force and then induced Stacey into a 1-3 for the final out putting an end to the threat. The sixth belonged to Cash but the seventh belonged to Shooter Bill as he gunned down Xtreme's first three batters 5-3.

The Falcons sent 51 batters to the plate, a far cry from 63, but one of the better offensive performances of the year and when the dust had settled the Falcons took this one by a score of 19 16.

Game High Lights
Chris 4 for 4, (single, two doubles and a triple), 3 runs scored, 5 ducks.
DK, Cas, DC, Bill and Rico 3 for 4
