assignment Falcons make it Two in a Row
Tuesday 8:00PM July 10th, 2012
It was a great spectators game Tuesday night as the Rebels and the Falcons met for the second time this season.

The Falcons jumped out to an early lead with some good hitting and great defense turning two double plays in the first two innings.

The always tough Rebels hung in with their own defense and threw a scare into the Falcons when the bottom of their order delivered big time in the sixth as they took the lead 11-9.

The Falcons, finally looking to have signs of life at the season's halfway point, came right back at them in the top of the seventh scoring 4 and holding the Rebels to a single run in the bottom for a final 13-12 victory in this nail biter.

The win marked the first time this season the Falcons have put together back to back wins.

Game Highlights
Junior - 4 for 4 with 3 singles and a double and 3 runs scored
DC - 3 for 4 with 1 homerun
Sean - 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs
Shooter Bill - 3 for 4

Coaches Comments
The team looked good tonight winning their third of the last four and looking competitive in all of them.

Wait, I'm not finished. For all you young players out there when charging a ball go straight at it not from the side. If you miss it there is a good chance it will hit you in the face and stay in front of you. Take a look at Shooter Bill. Now there's a good Kingston boy. No Ole's for him, straight at it. When it misses his glove he takes it off the noggin, picks it up and makes the play to first. Gotta love them Kingston boys.

Boxscore:

Team 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Final
Falcons 3 4 0 1 1 0 4 13
Rebels 0 2 0 2 1 6 1 12
