While three games does not a season make, the Falcons mini-win streak may be an indication that the worst is over.

In Friday's game the Falcons were up against division rivals Hanet Plastics. Jumping out to an early lead and continuing with some good defense, an aspect of the game sorely missing in the first half of the season, the Falcons are starting to look like the team of old.

Rookie Rich, playiing in his sixth game since being called up from the Lansing Lugnuts, continues to contribute both offensively and defensively and started and ended a highlight 3-6-3 double play to kill an early Hanet challenge.

The Plastic Men gave it a run for the money scoring 6 runs in the final two innings but it was a case of too little too late as the Falcons came out on the top of an 11-7 score.
