Hesitation cost the Falcons a tie in this game, as SLF waited a hair too long to pull the trigger in an attempt to cut down the runner tagging from third in the fourth inning, resulting in a 7-6 loss to 2012 WMSPL League Champion Hanet on Sunday night.

The Falcons (2-2) were coming off an emotional nail-biting victory vs. Xtreme in the finale of the Mid-season tournament, a game that ended with a spectacular mouth-open catch by Beaver to rob Xtreme's Drew of a walk-off game winning home run in the bottom of the seventh. Perhaps drained from playing 5 games in a 24-hour period, the Falcons came out flat and allowed a big inning to Hanet (2-1) who played solid defence in the win.

Thus the Falcons begin their four-game road swing 0-2. With no time to rest, they take on the A�s on Wednesday evening.

Game Notes: Dinner remains merely tied for first in triples� With the amount of moaning and groaning coming out of the Falcons dugout, you�d think they were running a brothel in there� Papa Bear was rocking the Iron Mike Murphy memorial gray pants again� The Falcons are .500 for the first time this season� Senior was spotted in the parking lot at 2:00 in the morning, surrounded by empty Doritos bags�
