assignment Senior Gets First Career Pitching Win, Falcons Defeat As
Wednesday 9:30PM July 10th, 2013
The journey of a million miles begins with a single step. Thus begins Seniors attack on Cy Youngs record of 511 pitching victories. After almost 30 years in the league, Senior pitched a complete game 15-hitter to earn his first win as the Falcons beat the As on Wednesday night, 6-4.

The Falcons (12-6) were riding a surprisingly short bench. The sign out sheet indicated that thered be 13 Falcons in attendance, but late scratches Papa Bear (working I mean, come on!), and Dinner (acting like the Sultan of Brunei, and picking up a fleet of automobiles) meant only 11 showed for this one. Speaking of no-shows, has anyone seen the umpire?

A couple quick bursts put the Falcons up 5-1 after two innings, and solid defence kept the lead. Goliath went deep, and Beaver and SLF both had perfect nights at the plate.

NOW THIS!

Game Notes: Dougothy did his best impression of Tank, trying to decapitate Goliath on first base with a line drive. The trauma briefly caused Goliath to forget which way to run Seriously, where was the umpire?... They mowed the outfield!... At this rate, itll take Senior 14,790 years to match Cys win total The replacement umpire did a commendable job, much better than DA in the playoffs last year. At least Aaron didn't wear flip-flops...
