Goliath and Big Lungs went deep, and Thousand Dollar Bill had a perfect night at the plate as the Falcons emerged victorious over the Rebels 15-3 on a rainy Sunday pizza night.
The game started frustratingly for the Falcons (25-9), who allowed the Rebels to plate two runs in the top of the first inning, but they quickly recovered. The Falcons answered, taking the lead for good in the bottom of the first, scoring three of their own. They scored another four in the second, and the rout was on. The Rebels managed only one more run and five hits over the final six innings, as Cashley and the Falcon defence held them to only nine hits overall.
Only four games to go in a long season, and it appears as if the Falcons are going to have to win them all to have a shot at the President's Division crown. They play twice more this week, Monday vs. Mayhem and again on Tuesday after a short flight on FALCONS1 to Bradleyville to face the Shifters.

Our only friend: Birdwatching. Didn't see any falcons.
Game Notes: Where the hell did Dougothy go?... Come on out for Monday's game versus Mayhem to catch Mary Poppins vs. Dinner II: The Stinkening... Context is difficult to discern over email, eh Tank?... The victory put the Falcons ever-so-briefly in a tie for first with rival Storm, who soon re-took the President's Division lead with a clutch victory over Xtreme.
