assignment Bird Finally Cracks a Smile in Xtreme Annihilation
Sunday 8:00PM June 8th, 2014
Lively bats and clean defence were the stars of the show as the Falcons defeated Xtreme 26-8 on Sunday evening at K2 Field at Maypo Yards.

The Falcons jumped out in the top of the first with a three-spot, and the Falcons were in flight. After Xtreme tied it up in the bottom half, the Falcons struck long and hard, putting up a snowman to take an 11-3 lead into the third inning.

Seven more for the blue side in the fourth, and the Falcons cruised the rest of the way to a WMSPL Time Limit shortened victory.

Game Notes: Bird found a new perch, repeatedly climbing the dugout fence with excitement... Our Only Friends selfish side is really making itself known, as he isnt leaving any ducks for anyone else, cashing in another seven for himself in this game... The blurb on the Falcons home page about the duck race should be updated... Xtremes Mikey made a decent catch. This can not be said often enough for Xtremes Mikey... The local Whitby Geological department recognized a significant seismic event when Big Lungs tripped while returning to first base after a line-out by Million Dollar Bill.
