assignment Falcons make it 5 in a row!
Tuesday 8:00PM July 8th, 2014
Still riding high after the 2-0 result from their double-header Sunday, the Falcons took a soggy K2 field against George's Division rival Rebels on this Tuesday 8PM game.

The Rebels struck early and often plating six runs in the top of the first, where the Falcons could only respond with one run in their bottom half of the inning.

Careful not to let this game get out of hand, the Falcons then made some defensive adjustments which helped keep the Rebels' bats in check, as they only allowed two more runs the rest of the way. True to form, the Falcons bats got going and plated 18 more runs over the next four innings to make the final 19-8.

Game Notes: Cincinnati Red Legs hit a DEEP HR to right center that still hasn't landed... Bird returned to his one-dimensional self, going yard himself after a 2-game HR hiatus... Umpire JP was seen hitting on Dinner & Beaver's Mom (ewe!)... Wanting to keep his fishing legs fresh, Bird begged for a courtesy runner after his last at bat (Big Cat would've been all over that)... Several solid infield plays (by Tank, Our Only Friend and Fo'Shizzle) helped with the aforementioned defensive adjustments... What happened to DC? One more win and FREE BEER!!!
