For the second time this season, the Falcons were going into a game riding a five game winning streak. With the team's six game win streak incentive of free beer looming, the Falcons, who were riding a short bench, took on division rival Hanet on this Friday night 8PM game.

In what turned into a closely contested battle the entire game, in the end, once again, the pressure seemed to be too much as the Falcons came up short, losing 14-13, on a first pitch walk-off home run by Hanet all-star short-stop Kyle in the bottom of 7th.

Game Notes:
With only 9 players showing up for this game, the Falcons called on a hill-sitting, poo-bellied WMSPL Vice-President, who made several contributions at the plate (thanks again George!)... Falcons' bats lit the skies with too many pop flies (and I'm a poet and didn't even know it). The Falcons' only solace was watching Xtreme (featuring an older looking Caillou in the lead off spot) win the 9:30PM game to keep Direct tied in the loss column with the Falcons...
