Part-Time Falcon Glorious Dan singled in the bottom of the seventh to walk off Triple Play to cap off a pretty sweet 10-9 come from behind win to open Sunday's doubleheader.

In a tale as old as time, the Falcons were short players. Dan, playing in his sixth game for the blue in 2025, has become the permanent guest host for the comedy show that is Falcons baseball.

Everything began late for the home Falcons in this one. As usual, the SLF tainted line up didn't do anything until the forth inning, but SLF himself arrived as the game was beginning to bark out positioning for the team.

Triple Play's bat were alive early, and by the end of the third inning, they led 6-1. The Falcons bat finally awoke to begin chipping away at that deficit. Two in the fourth on SLF's 2-run double, and two more in the fifth on Miner Leaguer's 2-run single. The defence was able to hold Triple Play to delicious doughnuts in the fourth, fifth, and sixth, so when Glorious Dan cashed Million Dollar Bill in the bottom of the sixth, it was the go-ahead run. Going into the seventh, the Falcons led 7-6.

But it is slo-pitch after all, and the fences are only 233 feet away, so scoring shouldn't be like splitting the atom. Triple Play put two aboard in the bottom of the seventh, and Matt's bomb would have cleared any 300' fence. The Falcons would need to walk it off if they wanted to win.

The Falcons' momentum could not be denied. Poutine and Miner Leaguer got on and were scored by Dr J's double to tie the game. With no one out, Triple Play put SLF on intentionally to set up the force at all bags for Million Dollar Bill, who hit into the fielder's choice that didn't result in an out. Taxman popped out to third to bring up part-time Falcon Glorious Dan. Dan was clutch, singling home the game winner.

Game Notes: In the sixth, Cowboy gunned down a runner tagging from first, and it would become a theme for the rest of the night... This game was played in a tidy 59 minutes.
