The Falcons' second Sunday evening game, vs The Crew at 6:30pm on K1, started out as a pitcher's duel, got ugly with the boys in blue down 16-1, only to see a furious comeback fall a little short, 16-14 Crew.

It was 1-1 after 3 innings, before the Crew plated 3 in the 4th, 9 big ones in the 5th, and 3 more in the 6th. After scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th, there was talk in the Falcons dugout (ahem, Labrecque!) of quitting the game early, down 10 runs with one to play. Leadoff hitter, consummate professional Cowboy wouldn't have any of it, and ordered the Falcons back onto the field for the 7th and final inning.

After a delicious donut in the top half of the inning, it was time for the Falcons to get to work. Singles from Ash, Taxman came next. Then an RBI Shohei single, a Cowboy RBI FC (is that the right way to score that?), a two-RBI Grahambo double, an RBI Poutine single, another Beatty-hobbling-to-second double plating one, and RBI singles from Barry, Handsome Jer and Grandpa Bill. All of a sudden the Falcons are down by two.

That's how it ended. It's a stupid game anyway, right guys?
