As we all know it's hard to trust anything that Labrecque says, so I am not exactly sure if it really was the Taxman's birthday, but I"m gonna go with yes it was! Paul got a Falcons W for turning 29, a 10-4 victory vs Coulas Bone Crushers on K2 Tuesday evening.

It was humid and sticky and gross, and the umpire ushered the Falcons onto the field before we even got to warm up. Coulas plated one in the top of the first, before both teams traded delicious donuts. Shohei plated two with a bases loaded RBI single in the 2nd, followed by Cowboy and Dunner RBI singles to make it 4-1 for the good guys.

Another singleton from Coulas in the 3rd made it 4-2 and it never got any closer. Barry ripped a triple into the gap, followed by Poutine knocking him home. Taxman plated the 2nd run of the inning on and it's 6-2 Falcons.

Three more delicious donuts from Coulas and the Falcons D, and DC plated two with a laser down the 3rd base line, 8-2 boys in blue after 5. A couple insurance runs in the 6th after a Beatty RBI single and a Poutine sac fly, 10-2 good guys.

Coulas scored a couple in the 7th and game over, 10-4 Falcons.

GAME NOTES:We had at least 3 innings where we'd put two on base and then infield fly, batter out... Beatty's streak of a bunch of games not recording an out came to an end, I wonder was it all with the pulled hammy... It's that time of year again, get out your golf clubs, tell your liver to suck it up for a couple days, happy symposium!
